Geocache Description:

Hidden as part of an ArtWash event, this cache is within the TruWash laundrette (roughly) at the given co-ordinates. Should be accessable to all during the opening hours of the laundrette (7:00am - 7:00pm, 7 days a week)

Have you ever wondered what happened to the missing socks from your washing..? Well.. they go traveling!

This cache has been set up as part of an ArtWash event, and 5 pairs of socks have been split up - one half of each pair will stay in the laundrette, and the other half have been made into travelbugs that are going off on a race! They are all racing to Edinburgh and then back home to Oxford again... Which one do you think will make it back first..?!

The travelbug socks are:
The pink stripy sock
The orange stripy sock
The green stripy sock
The blue stripy sock
And the purple stripy sock

ArtWash is a monthly artist led event held at the TruWash laundrette in Headington, Oxford, on the 20th of every month (except for August...). Each month an artist has a showcase event for finished work, work in progress, or a site specific piece. For further information see the website - http://www.artwash.co.uk/

The container is a small-medium sized plastic box, hidden somewhere within the laundry. I'm not certain exactly how accurate the listed co-ordinates are, but they're pretty close and there's only one TruWash laundrette in Headington, so hopefully you'll find it! You won't need to pay any money, break anything, or climb up high to get at the cache, nor will you need to interfere with anyone else's laundry, but you may need to look in the places that socks get lost!
