Geocache Description:

The cache and clue is around the boundary of the school. (Please do not come onto school grounds!)

This is the second cache from the activities week geo-cachers at Grove school. This year we decided to make it a little more complicated.

At the co-ordinates above you will find a plaque explaining the history of the Georgian building that is now our Sixth Form college. Divide the date the house was built by 5, then take away 117. This gives you the end of the North co-ordinate. Then the year it became a school divided by 2, take away 452.5 to get the last three digits of the West co-ordinate.

N: 52 54. (year built/5 - 117)
W:002 28. (year school/2 - 452.5)

At this co-ordinate you will find our cache.
