GT Friends Cache
You probably have some friends that sometimes go geocaching with you. They think geocaching is nice but didn’t want to start it (at least till now). They support your hobby. And for sure have of your friends some nice ideas where to place a cache.
The special friends which we mean, lived for 3 Years here in Portugal and are now on the way back to Germany. On one of our last walks we went to the “Serra de Sintra” to this place, they have looked out to hide a cache.
Following the idea: going back to basics... here is this cache.
Obs: we always cache as a family – this time we did not take our youngster (5 years) with us!!! Also we left Laica – our dog, at home!
- this cache is not to do with kids (younger than 8 years) and dogs!!
- this cache is not to do at night!!
- this cache is not to do under wet conditions!!
Maybe the cache is hidden on private ground. Means there is no perfect way to walk. The right clothes/shoes will be useful.
In more or less 2 km in an angel of 47° (counted from north) you can see the Palacio da Pena.
You have to reach the top of the hill.
There is no special way to the top.
You have to look around to find a way.
Even near the top is a possibility to reach the top without danger or risks.
Maybe you have to look for this way.
The cache is in about 456 - 460 m over sea level.
The cache container is a regular tupperware-box,
has enough place for TB or geocoins. It is in a black sack.
The cache can be reached 24hs a day!
We will not recommend cache at night
or on wet days. The rocks can be slippery.
Please leave it well hidden.
Don’t forget cache in trash out!
- measuring tape
Hint and spoiler after FTF.
Have a nice hunt.
