This cache is in an area that is surrounded by tall trees which can make satellite reception difficult at times. The area can be accessed through a couple different ways, which could vary in degree of terrain rating. The nearby park is popular so as always, be discreet, and respect the residents whose homes lie to the west, up the hill. Because of bad reception, I included a specific hint to help in your search.
The cache is an 8x5x4" plastic box covered with camo duct tape. The cache is placed along an area that was once part of a now abandoned railroad line, the old Chicago North Shore and Milwaukee Railroad; in fact, a trestle went across the nearby street close to that point. If you look at the pattern of utility poles, you can envision as to how it was situated. After trains stopped running on these tracks in the early 1960's, the rails were eventually removed, and became memories to those who lived in Racine at that time.
