Geocache Description:

The Lancashire leg of Little Quest. Don't forget to make a note of those all important numbers to help you find that final cache in the series!

There are some lovely views to be had on the way to the cache site, bring a picnic, stay a while and enjoy. It is an easy path from the car park but I doubt wheelchairs could make it, sorry.

I look forward to people visiting our beautiful county and reading their reactions when they discover that it's not all cloth caps, whippets and Coronation Street.

Although quiet when I visited here I imagine it may get a lot of visitors at certain times so just the usual request to be careful when looking for and removing the cache.

The cache is a two litre butty box which is less than 300 metres from the nearby car park at N53 36.322 W002 45.113 (the car park closes at 17.00hrs or 5pm in English money). Further, limited parking is available at any time 250 metres away at N53 36.192 W002 45.072.
