How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
This cache is part of a series of 19 new caches hidden for the Open Space Geacaching Event held on September 29, 2007. It is in the Elena Gallegos Picnic Area, which does require a small parking fee ($1.00 per car on weekdays, $2.00 on weekends).*UPDATE* I re-visited this area on 10/3 and it is indeed getting a little more trashed than I had hoped. This container was purchased specifically so that it could be left near the trail and within Open Space Geocaching Guidelines (specifically, no caches more than 6 feet from a trail). I noticed lots of footprints and rocks overturned (and left that way) 20-25 feet from the trail. Also, the cache was located pretty far away from where I had placed it, and was farther from the trail than is allowed. Please tread lightly, and remember to place the cache exactly where you found it. Thanks!
