A micro (0.5" x 1") in the middle of nowhere.
As I was bushwhacking my way around Bong one day headed to a spot I wanted to scout for placing a cache, I came across this little area that could be best described as the middle of nowhere, some short, wiry grass and a few tiny shrubs. I looked around a bit and said to myself "No one would place a cache here, except maybe rogheff".
Suddenly my mind was off and running:
What would rogheff do here? A micro of course.
How would rogheff decorate said micro? A small decoration that barely covers the container, or maybe a big garish decoration, or even something in between.
How would rogheff write up the cache page? He'd spin a tale , most likely, with a few hidden hints in the tale and the remainder of the cache page.
The decoration, camouflage, nide, protective coloration, whatever, is quite natural looking.
You may be thinking this is a sinister hide as you approach from the blue trail, but if you stop and look around when your GPSr says you are 30 to 50 feet from GZ, you will soon realize you are left with only a few spots to search. It really is a simple hide, don't make it harder than it needs to be.
This cache was hidden a week ago, but I wanted to make sure that the decoration would be able to stand up to the weather before it was published.
