Geocache Description:

Caution: This cache has not been listed on the Hungarian geocaching website. It's available only on the geocaching.com.

One of the early examples of Calvary structures in Hungary, this Calvary resembles a fortress.

The fortress-like building of the Calvary (Argenti Döme Square) can be found in the garden suburb of Vác. This place of pilgrimage was built in Baroque style between 1726 and 1738 using private charitable donations of a noble, Csik János. It's consist a gathering chapel and the Calvary and it's one of the three Hungarian Calvary witch consist a hermitage. On the top, at the feet of the crosses of Christ and the two thieves the figures of the Virgin Mary, Mary Magdalene and Saint John can be seen. The Calvary was renovated in 1995-2001 entirely with private money .

The cache is a simple 35 mm black film container containing a “log book” strip and a pencil.

Vác kertvárosi részében található a barokk kálvária várszerû épülete. A zarándokhely 1726-1738 között épült, a remetelakból, a gyülekezôkápolnából és a kálváriából áll. A rejtés egy szokásos városi microcache!
