Geocache Description:

One of the most beautiful pebble beaches on the island Hvar.

Lucisce is a small, secluded beach, accesible by boat or on foot from the new dirt road between Sveta Nedelja and Dubovica.

Parking on this narrow road would be quite complicated, so if you want to reach the cache on foot, leave your car in Sveta Nedelja and continue on foot on the road marked "Hvar" . The walk there is about 2,5 km long, so take some water with you in hot weather.

You will see the beach from the hills, and on the trailhead you will find a path descending into the valley. Formerly the only direct connection between the two villages, it was party converted into the new road and partly damaged by its construction. Follow the path between stone walls to its lowest point and from there continue down to the beach - this part is unfortunately covered by large rocks from the construction of the road above you. Once on the beach, look to the rocks on your right and find the most prominent rock (it is just oposite the cottage to your left).

Carefully climb up there - it is not dangerous, but good shoes are required. Watch your step as some parts of the rocks are razor-sharp, and don't even think of taking small kids with you on these last few meters - better let them enjoy the pebble beach.
