Geocache Description:

A small little unknown park in the Baraboo Bluffs that has a great view.

PLEASE NOTE:
Every year during the fourth weekend in June the Yellow Thunder Amateur Radio Club, based in Baraboo, plays host to the "ARRL Field Day" event. This organized event allows hams from all over the US and beyond to grab some radio gear and take it out in the "field" to operate on battery, generator or other power sources and with improvised antennas. It's a good way to make sure the equipment is working and get non-hams or new hams familiar with the hobby and demonstrate how things work.

For years now the Yellow Thunder Amateur Radio Club has used Owen Park in Columbia County as the site where they set up and operate from during Field Day weekend. They retain special permission from Columbia County to camp at the park for the weekend.
