Please bring your own frisbee if you can, as there will only be
a limited number available from me! - Event starts at 12pm on
Saturday November the 17th 2007
I've always regarded geocaching to be 'the anti-golf', in as
much as it doesn't spoil a good walk. Then I heard about Frisbee
Golf, and thought it sounded like another sport I could get
into. So this event is to draw cachers of all ages together to give
the game a try! I'll be setting up an 18 'hole' course for the day,
and will send teams out with score cards. The winners will get a
caching related prize. There's 40 caches within 2.6 miles, so if
you're from out of the area, make a long day of it.
The park has ample parking, you can bring your kids and dog so
long as you clean up after them, there's pushchair and wheelchair
access and in the event of bad weather... we'll get wet!
Hope to see you there.
There's
a thread about the event on the UK forums here.
