Der eingeweihte „Hohe Wand- Geher“ weiß beim Cachenamen sofort wo in etwa er sich befinden muss. Auch wenn keine Frau im Cacheteam ist (und damit eine Lücke in die Cacher- Gemeinschaft reißt), muss man deswegen nicht weinen: zu heben ist er allemal.
Sinnvoll ist es den Cache von unten (also Osten) her zu begehen. Ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt ist der Parkplatz bei N 47° 49.674´und E 016° 03022´ an der „Hohe Wand Straße“. Hier ist allerdings eine Fahrzeug- und Personenmaut zu entrichten (derzeit jeweils €1,45 pro Fahrzeug und Person). Wer dies nicht will hat auch die Möglichkeit das Auto bei der Mautstelle abzustellen (nur wenige Parkplätze) und den Weg zu Fuß zu beschreiten. Näherst Du Dich den angegebenen Koordinaten von hier aus auf ein Minimum über einen Waldweg an, ist der Cache nicht mehr weit entfernt. Geschätzte 30 m - allerdings nicht mehr horizontal ;-).

Hier sei noch einmal angemerkt, dass sich der Cache direkt IM Klettersteig befindet
(auch nicht darüber!).
Es gibt somit keinerlei Möglichkeit von einer anderen Seite her zu schummeln.
Direkt beim Cache gibt es mit Sicherheit auch kein GPS- Signal. Du musst dann also schätzen.
Klettersteigausrüstung, eventuell eine Bandschlinge als Verlängerung,
Kletterhelm und die notwendige Erfahrung im alpinen Gelände
sind unbedingt anzuraten.

The insiders of the „Hohe Wand climbers“ know by recognizing the cache name immediately where more or less it may be. Even if there is no woman in the cache team and so strike a hole in it: anyway it’s gettable.
It’s meaningful to start in the valley (means east) the best parking ground is at N 47° 49.674´und E 016° 03022´. Anyway there’s a fee for € 1.45 per person and vehicle to pay. If this is too much it’s also possible to start from the toll-house (just few parking space!). If you come as close to the header-coordinates over a forest-footpath the cache isn´t far anymore. Maybe about a 100 ft(but not horizontal...)
One more time it has to be said, that the cache is IN the “via ferrata” – what means also not “above”. There is no possibility to cheat from a side path. Directly by the Cache there is for sure no GPS- signal. You’ll have to estimate.
Climbing- gear, maybe a longer flatrope for enlargement, helmet and enough experience in alpine terrain are strictly necessary.
