A beautiful tribute to a loved one lost.
I have passed this landmark many times and wondered what it's significance was. When I finally stopped, I found it to be a beautiful tribute.
The cache is at the top of the notorious Mason's Hill, so please be sure your vehicle is well off the road when you stop. There are forest access roads up by the county line and it is a short walk back to the cache along the roadside trail.
No room for swag. Bring your own pen.
Many of you have asked if I know the story behind this place, at present, I do not know. But with the help of some local friends, I am trying to find out more. I'll post what I learn.
