Park at the Monroe lake forestry campground.Follow a faint trail on the south side of Monroe lake.The trail is rocky and has a fair amount of windblown trees upon it.If you have any trail finding skills it should not be any problem. Its only about 15 minutes from the parking spot.As you go you will have a good view of the homes and the solitude of the lake,so enjoy.
