Geocache Description:

An easy-to-find micro at the Saddle in the Baldy Pass Trail.

THIS CACHE NEEDS A NEW OWNER!!! IT NEEDS MAINTENANCE, AND THE PROBABILITY OF ME GETTING TO IT IN THE FUTURE IS QUITE LOW. ANY VOLUNTEERS???? IF I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM SOMEONE BY SEPT 1, I WILL TERMINATE IT.

I figure that if you've made a serious trek to a cache, you should not be faced with more challenges to find the cache. So even though this is a micro (one of those dangly Christmas-ornament-looking things), it's hanging from a tree that's isolated enough from other trees that your GPS should guide you right to it.

Note: the wind or a cacher might dislodge it from its resting place, which would make it really visible - so please replace it snugly and not dangling. See photos.

See Gillean Daffern's Kananaskis Country Trail Guide Third Edition Volume 1 - Hike 40 (Baldy Pass from the South). We combined this with Hike 39 (Baldy Pass from the North), and did the full loop.

Park at N50 59.388 W115 04.520. The parking lot is just over 1400 m elevation, and the cache is at about 1900 m, so you're looking at a 500 m climb. It took us leading-edge-boomers under 2 hours to get there (like, I'm not the swiftest hiker in the area!!)
