There is a vehicle fee to visit the park.
An early surveyor's map of the area shows a handwritten note
"Mountainous, Unfit for Settlement," indicating the land that is
now L.L. "Stub" Stewart park was good for living people to log, but
not for logging people to live.
The posted coordinates lead you to an information kiosk which will
provide you enough information to get you onto the right trail.
Once you've hiked to the correct trail, note your GPS
location, then substitute .240 for the fractional portion of the
Latitude minutes, and .642 for the fractional portion of the
Longitude minutes to zero in on the final cache location.
I.e.
N 45° xx.240
W 123° yy.642
where you determine xx and yy. Sit and enjoy the view!
