Geocache Description:

This cache requires a certain degree of physical fitness in that the cacher has to climb what is locally called a “mountain“, but which in alpine regions would be referred to as a “hill“. About 324 metres.
The cache is a glass preserving type bottle with a clip-down lid. It contains the usual trade items.
There is also a First Find trophy.

Park at S17°16.411 E145°28.094 which is the start of the track. Allow yourself about 2 to 2.5 hours return. This should allow about half an hour at the top to find the cache and admire the view. Sadly the view is no longer so unimpeded as the mountain is no longer as bald as it used to be. I am told that State Forest controlled fires have prevented the wild fires that once kept the top bald. GPS reception is excellent at the top so no hints are offered.
