Located in a land preserve. This is on the old Gregory Farm. 3.7 acres was donated for open space in 1980 (or about). There is a sign that indicates this is open during daylight hours. Nice little trail that folks don't really know about-It doesn't go far but it is pretty.
This cache was designed by teammate Molly. We were in Connecticut for a Brownie Zoo day activity. We found two caches while visiting Grama and thought this would be the perfect location for our first hide.
This cache contains Girl Scout and Boy Scout related items. There is $1.00 for the lucky FTF. Please swap scouting related items. Items included in the origional cache and their relationship to scouting include:
Our Chalet music and lyrics with Swiss coin. (there are four world centers that Girl Scouts and Girl Guides may visit-Our Chalet, in Adelboden Switzerland, is one of them).
Our Cabana music and lyrics with a Mexican coin-This is another one of four world centers for scouts and guides.
Yes, I am still a girl scout button.
Shilling-represents a world center in England
Mexican bookmark-represents Our Cabana
Crafts-well all scouts do crafts at some time
Swaps-scouts make these and trade them with others
Handiwipes-in case you need them.
Have fun and don't forget to sign the log-This is our first hide so let us know if we need to do something different.
