Cache is situated near Dzilnas iezis (rock) which is one of the most magnificent and mightiest cliffs in Latvia. It is about 40 m high and 300 m long rock sally in form of a horseshoe. Processes of suffosion and side-erosion are still remaking it - rock is moving back >1 m in a year. The bottom is washed out by stream of the Amata and springs. Middle layers are steep and uncovered. In winter climbers are fond of icefalls that forms on the rock.
The cache is hidden in place from where the cliff can be seen in all its glory. Be carefull the path might be slippery when wet or covered with snow.
This is one of four caches which were placed during the geocachers group hiking trip. We recommend you to find this one together with two nearest caches named Perlupite and Perlupites ala. Perlupite river valley is very scenery.
