The posted coordinates are where I parked near the ball fields. This is a simple offset cache hidden in Firemans Park in honor of Bill (WRR) reaching the 3000 finds mark. Congrats Bill!
To find this cache you need to know what town Bill lives in.
Along the drive in to the park there are monuments dedicated to the different fire departments around Long Island, find the one that protects Bill and his family in his town.
You're looking for the date that fire department was organized. Take the month and day in numerical form and add it to both the north and west of the following coordinate string:
N40 54.210 W72 51.568
For example if the date says 2/18/25 the number to add would be 218, added to 210 giving you N40 54.428. You will also need to add it to the west. Good luck.
