The
Kinnickinnic River is one of my favorite places to visit in
Western Wisconsin. It's a beautiful place to visit any time
of year, offering plenty of scenic locations and wildlife
viewing. It's probably most well-known for excellent trout
fishing (by both people and bald eagles). This spot along the
river is very peaceful - sit a spell and enjoy the serenity.
Nice parking at the coordinates below. From there, you can
take the 2-track back to the cache, or for a more scenic walk
stroll along the river bank and cut over to the cache. Cache
is a sandwich-size lock-n-lock with the usual
goods.
