Sehome Hill Arboretum. Easy drive, some walking and uphill hiking.
Stair climbing. This is a good place to take the whole family,
binoculars, and a camera on a CLEAR visibility day.
Directions: Find your way to the top of the hill via the Arboretum
road (off BILL MCDONALD PARKWAY) to the parking lot. On foot, read
sign and map, then walk towards and past Bellingham Repeater
Station. Continue through tunnel to the tower at, N 48° 44.287 W
122° 28.833. Enjoy the view, then figure this rest...
Take N 48° 44.141 and ADD the number of wood stair steps, including
landings, for Latitude to cache as 48*44.XXX; take W 122° 28.846
and ADD number of hand rails at this site for Longitude to cache in
the format of 122* 28.XXX . HAPPY HUNTING!
