Geocache Description:

About 175 off the trail, to the north, scrub oak on top of the rock ridge.

Mark's Birthday Happy Birthday Mark! We buried your presents and now you get to go find them starting with the Long/Lat of this site! Then we're gonna reveal it to the rest of the world so they can share the great hike and views! This one is not far from the parking lot, but you may want to take the long way around to get to it. It is easier to hike/bike the trail than to bushwhack straight up the hill as this location is just off a fire road. Hiking straight up is entirely possible but the likelihood of tics and rattlesnake encounters goes up significantly. This spot is just off the fire road, about 175 feet downhill to the north. On top of the rock ridge is a growth of scrub oak with 4 pronounced trunks, each only about a foot from each other. This forms a square. The cache is buried an inch underground, on the west side of the square. This is a great (and popular) bike, walk, horse path. Beautiful views of Simi Valley and the Sespe Mountains are visible. Round trip from the parking lot is probably thirty minutes by foot. 20 minutes by bike. If you see a guy with a big head biking on his very-noticable Lefty Cannondale Raven, yell out "Happy Birthday Mark!" Sincerely, Sarah & Team BigHead
