Now this is what we're talkin' about!! Snow, cold, and some more
snow! Looks like it's time for the 'Winter Warmup' geo-meet!
Come on out to the community room at the library for some food,
conversation and fun! We'll supply the hot chocolate, marshmallows
and whipped cream. We'd love for you to bring along a snack to
share. This year, due to town budgetary issues, the library is only
open until 3pm, so we're making this more of a lunchtime
affair.
Event Buttons!!
This year Henry & Elly are donating event buttons to everyone
that posts a 'will attend' log by February 13th. Please list number
attending and names of your crew with your log. Contact
Henry with any changes to your group!
Design-a-cache/Fill-a-cache
Once again, the cache containers will be primed and ready to be
decorated by the kids, and we'll have the 'cache design station'
set up for the decorating, so bring the kids!!!
Please bring along an item of swag to fill up the caches to be
raffled off at the end of the event.
The Raffle
This year, the lucky winners will be selected from those that have
completed the WMWW bingo sheet, to be handed out when you
arrive.
The Rest
Of course we'll have travel bug table, and if you've never been to
the Palmer Library, the kids will enjoy the great children's area
of the library!
Apres Library Caching and the Night Cache
As usual, we'll be heading out to the Steaming Tender for dinner
after the meet, but clearly, 2:45pm is too early for dinner!
After the library closes, cache on! Hit a bunch of the local
caches, or join us for a group cache hunt. A bunch of us will be
heading down to Holland to do the caches
TFTC Tequila Man and
S'More Scenic Views with the cache owner, Flalamingo. We'll be
parking off Morse Road in Holland - coords listed in additional
waypoints below.
After you're done caching, we'll meet back at the Steaming
Tender for dinner (5pm, or so). At dinner, we will be handing out
cache sheets for the night cache - so bring your flashlights! The
drive to the night cache will be about 10 minutes from the Steaming
Tender.
