Geocache Description:

This is a brainstorming session for northern Minnesota GeoCachers who would like to work on developing a Beltrami County History Puzzle Trail for the state's Sesquicentennial Celebration, which kicks off in May

We will meet in the conference room of the Beltrami History Center at 10:00 on Saturday, March 8. The meeting will be led by MAGEpirate, who will first give a tour of local history exhibits in the Beltrami Historical Society's Depot Museum, then provide examples of interesting Geocaching and Waymarking history trails and puzzle trails that have been developed elsewhere. Then, let the brainstorming begin! We are looking for experienced Geocachers with an interest in helping to developing a top notch trio of trails that will include a downtown history puzzle trail, a history trail in the wider area around Bemidji, and a geology/ natural history (perhaps waterbased ) Earthcaching puzzle trail. Sounds cool, huh? Please join us! Refreshments provided!
