A Penha da Águia é um dos poucos locais existentes no Guadiana onde
existem infra-estruturas para tirar partido do melhor que a região
nos pode oferecer em termos de visita ao seu magnifico Parque
Natural do Vale do Guadiana.
Junto à cache irão encontrar um cais flutuante. Se puderem levem
uma canoa ou barco e tentem observar ao longo do rio as diferentes
espécies de animais que mais atrevidamente vos observam enquanto
são presenteados pelos cantos das cotovias e pintassilgo, o
chilrear dos pássaros e os assobios das diferentes aves de rapina
que pairam no ar.
Desde que saiam da estrada principal e até chegarem à cache,
enquanto passam pelas terras de “Ronco” – Roncão de Cima, Roncão do
Meio, Roncanito e Roncão de Baixo, a estrita estrada de alcatrão é
sistematicamente invadida por perdizes, lebres, coelhos, cobras,
lagartos, ovelhas, cabras e vacas. Recomenda-se toda a atenção e
circulação a baixa velocidade.
Este local, ainda exploração virgem, é também um dos poucos locais
praticamente isentos de lixo. Por favor, conservem-no assim e se
observarem algo que lá não pertença, removam-no. |

The Penha da Águia (Eagle’s Rock) is one of the few places in the
Guadiana where exists infrastructure to take advantage of the best
that the region can offer us in terms of access to its magnificent
Parque Natural do Vale do Guadiana (Natural Park of Guadiana
Valley).
