Moved to a new location in Aug. 09. Be careful on the trail! The floods last year washed away a lot of the river bank on the way to this cache. The trail was closed, but is open now, but not repaired.
Parking is at Carr's Swimming Pool and then proceed over the bridge to the East Park. I have placed some other caches along the trails to take you along the whole trail system. Distance to this cache is about 2/3 of a mile from parking.
Many people use this area for walking, running, and dog walking. Please watch for muggles. Enjoy the views of the river and the surrounding areas. During the summer there will be a lot of ground cover off of the trail, which will include poison ivy, itchweed, and in some areas, small thorny plants. During the winter months, there are maintained cross country skiing trails on the eastern edges of the park. Enjoy lots of berries along the west side of the tall grass area and enjoy the shaded trail system during the leafy months.
Please practice Cache In Trash Out and trade even or trade up! Be sure to log any geocoins or travel bugs picked up or dropped off when you log the cache online.
