Another cache located among the well-groomed paths in East River Valley Park. Parking is at Carr's Swimming Pool and then proceed over the bridge to the East Park. I have placed some other caches along the trails to take you along the whole trail system. This cache is just off the eastern edge of the park. Easily accessed from the far east path.
Many people use this area for walking, running, and dog walking. Please watch for muggles. Enjoy the views of the river and the surrounding open areas. During the summer there will be a lot of ground cover off of the trail, which will include poison ivy, itchweed, and in some areas, small thorny plants. During the winter months, there are maintained cross country skiing trails on the eastern edges of the park. Enjoy lots of berries along the west side of the tall grass area and enjoy the shaded trail system during the leafy months.
Please practice Cache In Trash Out and trade even or trade up! Be sure to log any geocoins or travel bugs picked up or dropped off when you log the cache online.
