As the name indicates, this is the 2000th geocache published on geocaching.hu. The Hungarian Geocaching Community celebrated the hiding of this cache with a special event, the 2nd South-Transdanubian Regional Cacher-Meeting in Szálka, on the 29th of March, 2008. After the event the 2000th cache was placed at its final location, outside of Zsibrik.

Zsibrik, the formerly independent, small village belonging to Baranya county was integrated with the village of Möcsény that led to its annexation by Tolna county. It lies about 5 km from Route 6, in a peaceful valley.
The Lutheran church after loosing its congregation has not been maintained and is currently in deplorable condition, would need urgent renovation. It is an interesting sight even in its current, neglected state.
A rehabilitation center was established here by the Reformed Church. The church purchased 10 small farmhouses along with their respective lands (about 7 acres) that provide accomodation and work opportunity. The managing foundation is known as the Supporting Foundation of the Mission for Saving Lost Youth (KIMMTA - Kallódó Ifjúságot Mentö Misszió Támogató Alapítvány)
About the geocache and the hide:
The 2000th geocache was placed at the border of the village, next to a tunnel. It is a big, cylindrical-shaped bucket, lowered in the ground; it was put into its place in such a way that makes the removal of its lid possible without moving the bucket itself.
