How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

The cache is located in Wagner Park, one of the older parks in Ankeny. There is a nice trail around the lake. There are parking lots on both the east and west sides of the lake. All but the last 30 feet to the cache can be reached from the paved trail. There can be lots of muggle activity in the area, especially during the summer months. There are no hours posted for the park and the trail is well lit at night.

The sand volleyball court will be busy during the months of June & July with league play on Monday thru Thursday evenings. I would suggest trying either before 5:30 pm or after 8:30 pm during these times since it would be very difficult to get this one while the sand volleyball court is in use.
