This cache can be searched and found like any other traditional cache, but …
… it can be the starting point for an international cooperation as well:
This cache is just one cache of a set of xx caches named "IMC No. 4 …" (IMC = International Multi-Cache). These caches are hidden in nn/2 Countries world wide:
DE = Germany, PT = Portugal, XX = xxxxxxxxxxxx. etc….
In each country there is a "primary cache" like this one and a "secondary cache" that can only be found with "hints" distributed to all primary caches.
The primary caches are named "IMC No. 4 P-x - yyy" and the nn secondary caches "IMC No. 4 S-x - zzz" where x is the country code given above and yyy and zzz can be any additional name.
The hints for the secondary caches are normally printed on "lists of hints" that are inside the primary caches. As the primary caches are scattered all over the world it will either require a lot of travelling or - and that is the intention of the IMC No. 4 - international cooperation. It will be necesary to get in touch with finders of these caches:
LIST OF ALL INTERNATIONAL CACHES
If you want to find the secondary cache as well, you should contact finders of other primary IMC No. 4 caches and exchange the hints.
And please be a fair player!
Never publish these hints anywhere! Not in a log report or on any web side. The hints shall only be exchanged / traded between geocachers that found the primary caches and want to search the secondary caches.
The IMC No. 4 team wish you good luck!
This cache is devoted to keep memory of a well known and spectacular fire that totally destroyed the Windsor Tower, an offices building more than 100 meters high that was a symbol of Madrid's development of Madrid in the 80's.
In the below web pages you can find more info about the disaster and its aftermath:
The cache is a small metal box with just a log book, in the highest point of a banister, at foot level. Due to the height of thew surrounding buildings, the signal is really poor, so if in trouble follow these directions:
Locate the City Cafeteria-Restaurante (signal quality is enough to do this). Leaving it at your back you will see a staircase ten meeters in front of you. Go to the top, and sit down with the black door at your back, so you can grab the box with your right hand. See below pictures for better understanding of this. Obviously, it is up to you how to get it, but please take in account that this is a relly crowded area and many, many eyes might see you.
In this case there is not printed list hint. Rather, there is a code in the first page of the log book neccessary to open the file that contains the hints for the other countries. Please keep this file so you can help other countrie's players. Click on the below url address to download the file:
