Geocache Description:

The cache is on the bicycle track "Ecovia" near cabanas by the Ria Formosa. If rainy can be slippery

"Ecovia" is a bicycle trackthrough the algarve from V.R.Sto Antonio untill Sagres.Without using the busy N125 cyclists can ride along the algarvian coast from West to east. On their way they can see old villages, small towns, vineyards and the Ria Formosa and it´s wildlife. The name of this cache is chosen because the bicycle track and the railway meet in this place. When Facing the sea you can see on your right the Salinas da Tavira and when lucky some flamingos. On your left you can see the conceiçao and cabanas. If you are in Cabanas you have a good opportunity to go to the Isla do Cabanas by ferry and enjoy a beautiful beach.
