Cette cache est dédiée au souvenir de la bêtise humaine. Cache facile. Elle est située hors de l'enceinte du site. Le 4 Août 1914 éclate une guerre qui deviendra la pire des boucheries que l'homme n'ait jamais enfantée. Les armées allemandes violant la neutralité belge vont se ruer sur la région liégeoise pour le plus rapidement possible vaincre l'armée belge et se retourner contre les Français, objectif principal du front ouest. Loin de se laisser impressionner par la supériorité de l'armée ennemie, les Belges vont opposer une résistance remarquable qui vaudra à la ville de Liège la croix de la Légion d'honneur de la république française. Rabosée est un des faits d'armes les plus remarquables de la défense de Liège ces tous premiers jours de l'offensive. Trois compagnies comptent au total environ 450 hommes. Chaque défenseur a reçu 400 cartouches. Ils vont affronter la 27ème brigade allemande (général von Wussow), 25ème et 53ème régiments d'infanterie (5000 hommes).
