Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
A Wherigo cache employing virtual and real elements designed to introduce this new Geocache type to South Africa.
The above co-ordinates will take you to the start.
The cache will be found after you have followed the Wherigo game cartridge instructions, for this you will need a Wherigo game capable GPS (eg: Colorado or Oregon) or a GPS enabled Pocket PC with the Wherigo player installed. Follow this link to download and set up your player. (visit link)
Click on this link to download the cartridge (visit link)
To claim the find you will both have to upload the .GWS data file (that is created on your gps device when the Wherigo cache game is completed) to the Wherigo.com cartridge website as well as logging the cache as a find on Geocaching.com. This is done by pushing the "Unlock" button on the cartridge page on Wherigo.com (visit link) and following those instructions.
Once you complete the cartridge make sure to save it in the Wherigo Player. When you return to the web site you can upload the save file to the site which will unlock the cartridge. The save file will have the name of the cartridge and end in *.GWS.
Please feel free to contact me for any info - took 2 weeks to set this one up!
Please ensure you have downloaded version 1.7 of the cartridge as the final cache hide had to be moved after it was muggled. You will not find it with earlier version.
****NB!! Only claim your find here after "unlocking" the cartridge on its wherigo.com page by uploading the .GWS file from your gps or pda. Finds here that dont have a MATCHING entry on the wherigo.com webpage will unfortunately be deleted. Wherigo is a virtual game linked to a real cache which you have to show you completed.****
