Nice hunting and fishing area on the Kinnickinnic River. This cache is just a short distance from the river, on the edge of the prairie restoration area maintained by the WI DNR. There are a couple nice parking areas – one listed below is just a bit closer to the cache. You should be able to follow some sort of trail pretty close to the cache. Container is now a matchstick container that should be accessible during all of our varied seasons.
If you get a chance, take the short trek to the edge of the Kinni not too far from this spot – it’s quite scenic and the flowing waters are quite soothing. Enjoy!
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the land manager at the Baldwin DNR office of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form.
