Geocache Description:

Twin Sisters rocks by Catfish Creek

Twin Sisters
This is Katie’s first cache hide. Decon container.
Located in a wildlife preserve area this cache is located near of within the Twin Sisters rock formation. Here is some information a fellow cacher told me about the name. It is called Twin Sisters because back in the 1800's in the time of steam locomotives, two TWIN girls were walking home along the tracks. The train conductor could not see because the wind was blowing dust in his eyes and he struck and killed the two girls. They named the large rocks in the area Twin Sisters in memory of the sisters. Also, for many years after the accident, trains blew their whistle as they past the rocks, in their honor.
This area is difficult to get to so I will leave the initial parking area up to you. Check your maps and take your best shot. It is a picturesque area that sees little people traffic these days but was once the hot spot of the high school keggers. So I hear. ? Depending on where you access the area you may find yourself on the wrong side of the creek.
You may want to bring a pokey stick for this one. Please be careful when looking for this cache as the rocks may be slippery. Only minor climbing may be necessary but nothing too treacherous.
Be wary of hobos or local bums and the angry corn bear.
