Geocache Description:

24 Hour Parking available nearby

Ten Thousand Buddha Temple of Peace Also known as the Cham Shan Temple, this Buddhist temple seems out of place with some of Niagara's brash attractions. And while visitors are welcome, For those interested in architecture or Buddhism, the Ten Thousand Buddha temple should not be missed. This cache is just outside the gated temple.

There is a huge Buddhist stupa and temple located near the cache A stupa is a house for sacred relics and this one not only holds remains but also features a huge statue of Buddha, a library, Buddhist artifacts and paintings. The Stupa is open spring, summer and fall on weekends.
The temple beside it is open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and features 10,000 small gold Buddhas and the altar of the Enlightened Being of Great Compassion. The entire site is quiet and beautiful and admission is free.

Cache is NOT inside the gated Temple grounds but close to the temple. Bring a pen.
Cache is available 24 hours
