How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A quick find, hopefully will initiate some recidivism. Difficulty rating based on logging requirements.

Deja Vu? Yes, this does look familiar doesn't it?

This cache is in the same location, heck, even the same
container as GCXHAF. This cache was rememberable to me as it was my
first FTF. I obtained the original container and stuffed it with a
fresh log.

Here's what you have to do to claim a smiley:

1. Find and sign the log. No biggie here considering the cache
IS at the posted coords.

2. Post a NOTE on this cache page.

3. Hide and have published a cache AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE to the
coordinates of a currently archived cache. It doesn't have to be
the same type or size container. Be sure to consider the reason the
original cache was archived and resolve those issues. Was it too
muggle prone? Here's your chance to be creative. Was it lame?
Here's your chance to get evil.

Mention THIS cache in the page of your resuscitated cache,
and include "Cache Renewal" in the title. You should also mention the
waypoint name or cache name of the cache that was originally in
your location.

4. Change your note on this page to a FOUND IT.

Be sure to consider all current guidelines when you are looking
for your new/old cache.

How do you find archived caches? That's part of the fun.
