Geocache Description:

Another cache in the Kelsborrow Wayfinders Sandstone series placed with a short circular walk in mind.

The cache lies alongside the Sandstone Trail, a long distance trail running 32 miles from Frodsham to Whitchurch. It also lies close to the end of the Eddisbury Way, a 16 mile walk from Frodsham to Burwardsley, which takes a different route. The cache itself is a tupperware container in a camouflage bag and is located in a perfect place for a picnic with some great views across Cheshire.

IMPORTANT – There is no need to move any stones, it’s a straightforward hide

Once again we would recommend parking at either the Cheshire Workshops car park or the Pheasant car park. Please try to avoid parking any closer.

A good short walk from the Cheshire Workshops involves taking the road past the Pheasant pub (Barracks Lane) into a wood. Follow the track a short distance until you reach the Sandstone Trail where you turn right, doubling back on yourself, on a path which takes you uphill. Eventually you will emerge into a field close to the cache. Continue along the path until you reach a road where you turn right back down the hill to the car park.
