Angels' Junction
Summer has come back to the interior of Alaska!
The Angel Rocks trail in the Chena Recreation Area is one of the
interior's most popular trails with good rock climbing and views of
the valley. As many folks only climb to the rocks, a cache just
needed to be placed a little higher to also encourage folks to
decide whether to travel the loop or perhaps continue another 6.5
miles to Chena Hot Springs.
This ammo can started with several travel bugs who needed to make
an Alaskan appearance as well as some Alaska reltated items.
The loop trail is about 3.5 - 4.0 miles depending on your route
selection with approximately 1400 feet of gain.
