A short walk from a public footpath across some heather and with a slight incline
This cache is placed in a fanstastic part of northumberland near Chillingham Castle and several other caches. You can park at the side of the road and take the footpath, then turn left when you reach the footpath that ascends the hill to the left (just before you get to the communications mast). You will have to walk through heather to get there, and there are clear patches that almost make a path but not quite. If you take that route, be careful as you get close. Otherwise I would advise walking further than is necessary uphill, and approaching from the west from where the hole will be more visible on approach. Cache is in a cave which has steps leading down to it so keep children and pets under close control. The coordinates are for the cave entrance (which is also shown on explorer ordnance survey maps) because there is no way you will get a signal at the cache itself. You should take two torches (just to be safe) and leave someone outside the cache when someone goes in to get it. There is a very good chance that you'll get dirty going for this cache.
