Balayang: ###Cache Owner Action Needed###
This cache has been brought to my attention as likely to be missing.
After a string of successful Finds, it has now had a string of DNFs. I agree that this certainly suggests that something has happened at the cache location which requires investigation by the CO.

The cache will be disabled and I'll check back in 4 weeks to see if either

  • the CO has checked or rectified the apparent problem
  • the CO has communicated in a Note log here, when action will be taken

If the CO has not taken either of these actions, then we can only assume that the cache has been abandoned and, regrettably, it will be archived.

The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.

Thank you

Geocache Description:

Yes, another cache set in the beautiful bluff area of Devonport.

This one is situated in a natural amphitheatre which appears to be largely underutilized by the local community.

The cache itself is small, micro in fact, thus contains only a logsheet and pencil.
There is no room for swaps.

A magnet helps to hold it in place.

Muggles abound here, but there is plenty to do and see while waiting for them to disperse.

Overcast weather at time of placement. GPS was down to an accuracy of 7m.
Please feel free to update the cords if you can get closer.
