Does your Dad have on his Dancing Shoes…..
Cause your all going to want too….
Stomp your feet!
Clap your hands!
Everybody Ready for a Barnyard Dance!
Bow to the Horse.
Bow to the Cow.
Twirl with the Pig if you know how.
Bounce with the Bunny.
Strut with the Duck.
Spin with the Chickens now-CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK!
With a BAA and a MOO and a COCKADOODLEDOO…
Everybody Promenade two by two!
Prance with the Horses,
Skitter with the Mice.
Swing with your partner once or twice.
Stand with the Donkey.
Slide with the Sheep.
Scramble with the Little Chicks-CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP!
Another little promenade two by two!
Trot with the Turkey.
Leap with the Frog.
Take another spin with the Barnyard Dog.
Turn with the Cow in a patch of clover.
All take a bow, and the dance is over.
With an OINK and a MOO and a QUACK QUACK QUACK,
The dance is done, but we’ll be back!

Lyrics are from the book “Barn Yard Dance” by Sandra Boynton

We wanted to create a cache that was family friendly and fun. As you will find out this was the perfect location. This cache is located in Pinicon Ridge County Park. Across the fence on private property is a sweet little farm with goats, miniture ponies, llamas, and bunnies. They all seem very curious when we walk by. Even if the animals are sweet and curious please respect the landowner’s land and property. The cache is located about 12 feet from the mowed grass trail. So very little if any bush wacking will be necessary. The cache container is a larger ammo box. So lots of room for trinkets and travel bugs. You will also find a nice little surprise in the cache box. It’s what we are going to be calling a CacheCot (cache mascot). Its Phyllis the Llama wearing her red pajamas. We would like to encourage you to take your picture with Phyllis and post it online. I’m told that Phyllis is blessed with good-luck that will rub off on people who chat and have their pictures taken with her.

We have provided parking coordinates which will lead you down a gravel road (marked by a small brown park sign) off Highway 13. The parking cordinates will lead you to the trail. Park on the side of the road and let the cache hunting begin.

We hope you all enjoy this fun cache.
