White Horses of the Sea on Lanzarote
How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
A cache originally placed by Arma de Oliver and adopted by Siftersam in Dec 17. Parking is close by. There is a nice walk along a flat paved path along a quiet seafront approx two thirds of a mile. Why not take a walk along the path, grab a break at the seats (shown as reference point) and then walk back. The cache is located in the rocks down to the side of the path, roughly ten feet from the path - so find an easy route to climb down.
The cache is contained in a weather proof plastic box and is large enough for most trackables. Once found please replace with care and ensure it remains hidden. The footpath is popular with joggers and walkers so a little steath may be required.
Keep children supervised in this area
Image above shows the waves rolling in and bellow is a winter sunset both taken at the cache site.
As with the other caches I placed, pictures of you, the area, sunsets or whatever are always welcome. I get an email notification for each log and I read them all. It brightens my dull work days.
Contents following maintenance Dec 17 .
Log book, pencil, shapener and a eraser.
