Geocache Description:

Very hard cache. Not for everyone. Must have good upper body strength and sense of balance. PARKING COORDINATES: N 42 58.918 W 085 38.081

The story of this cache is as follows; This massive tree has been known to the neighboorhood kids for decades. My dad and his friends used to hammer planks into this mammoth and climb her daily. I didn't even remember that this tree existed until a few weeks ago when I was walking my dog by the area. I checked my favorite childhood landmark only to discover two kids trying to hammer thin walled particle board into her with junky roofing nails. I quickly stopped them, as most of the existing planks they had already climbed were rotted out more than halfway. I assured these fine young chaps that I would return to build them a much more elaborate system with steps of good thick wood and nails over half a foot in length.

Please use common sense. If you have read the story, you probably have a good idea of where this cache is. If it looks like you can't do it, find someone else to help you with this one. Do not attempt alone. Do not attempt at night. Do not attempt in bad weather. Have fun and be careful!

I would like to try and keep this cache coin themed only. This cache welcomes all foreign coins, domestic coins, and geocoins. I am starting this cache with a 1978 dollar piece coin, a buffalo nickel, and a wheat penny. FTF please take whatever you wish, even if that is everything. Everyone else please TRY to trade up or trade even. COINS AND LOGBOOK ONLY!
