Geocache Description:

This cache meets the guidelines for Minnesota State Forests.

Nearly 2-1/2 inches long, the six-legged praying mantis scares its enemies off by raising its wings and hissing at them. The praying mantis is green and light brown and lives in meadows and on flowers. Though the male can fly, the female cannot. The praying mantis eats insects -- including other praying mantises!
