Geocache Description:

This cache meets the guidelines for Minnesota State Forests.

One of the fastest of the dragonflies, the green darner hovers over the surface of ponds and streams. It has six legs, four wings, a green body, and a blue or purplish-gray tail. The green darner eats midges, mosquitoes and other flying insects. It ranges in size from 2 to 3 inches long, yet its wings can spread as long as 4-1/2 inches.
