Geocache Description:

Olando kepure – nuolat Baltijos juros bangu mušos ardomas 24 m aukšcio skardis, dar vadinamas Olando kepures kalnu, kuri prieš 12–15 tukst. metu suformavo Lietuvos pajuryje stuksojes ledynas. Šis kalnas nuo seno buvo apauges pušu ir ažuolu sengire ir sudare ryšku kontrasta aplink plytinciai pustomo smelio lygumai, todel buvo geras orientyras jureiviams ir žvejams. XIX a. pr. ant skardžio buvo pastatyti perspejamieji ženklai laivams, o pats kalnas pažymetas jurlapiuose. Šios vietos vardo kilme susijusiu su kranto reljefo panašumu i olandiška kepure. Šlaito viršuje dabar irengtos regyklos, nuo kuriu atsiveria puiki panorama i jura. Cia prasideda pažintinis takas „Litorina“.

The Baltic Sea washes the coasts of western part of the district. Here, the Seaside Regional Park is established in which the unique seaside fauna and flora are reserved, and „Olando cap“ which is uprised 24 meters above sea-level astonishes visitors as well as stony coast which is dotted with millenial boulders, ecological sightseeing path „Litorina“ and a lot of other impressive natural resources.
There are very scenic at sunset.
