Geocache Description:

The oldest geocache in Monterey Bay area (Santa Cruz County and Monterey County) and one of the oldest in California.

Central Coast Geocachers of California"OK. Who stole the bridge? I was going to place this by an infamous bridge, but it seems to be gone. So I put it someplace else. You can ignore the warning about not crossing the bridge. However be aware that trains do run on the tracks near the stash." -MAMoran, placer of this geocache

You can follow the tracks (up to a point) to get to two other nearby geocaches ("Turkey Bash Geocache" and "?Bridge The To Happened What"). Enjoy!

Warning: The rail line that the cache is next to is active. The trains are either from Roaring Camp Railroads or the San Lorenzo Lumber Yard in Felton (just up CA-9 a few miles). Although the trains do not seem to run on Sundays, this is not a guarantee that you won't see a train. The trains do not go fast and are easily heard, thus it is easy to get out of their way if need be.

The cache is safe for children of all ages, make it a family outing. Mountain Bikes are allowed. Dogs are allowed. Cache is night-time accessible! Leave the cache better hidden than you found it! 3D Location EPE was ??.? feet with a Garmin GPS V. ICG waypoint ID G-NX-080.
