Alpine Reviewer: As I have not received an update from the cache owner, I am archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you (the cache owner) wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, please contact me, and assuming it meets the guidelines, I will be happy to unarchive it.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This cache is primarily to TRADE Travelbugs & Geocoins. If you take something, leave someting of EQUAL value.

Please use extreme stealth & be sure to log any trackable items you take from the cache.

We thought travelbugs needed a spot along this stretch of road.

Cache is a 50 cal ammo can on Historic Route 66, pre 1937. It also appeared to be on the Santa Fe Trail. It is located about 130 feet away from the best parking spot.

Cache is intended to trade trackable items but is started with some goodies, including a ball for pooches to fetch, a paw kerchief, & FTF star.

It is a steep downhill walk. Right now there are high weeds & mosquitoes, so be prepared.
